Secure ePayments API allows you to customise the payment page to your own specifications and even integrate with your own stock control systems.

How it works - in brief:

1. Your customer finds a product, puts it into their shopping basket and clicks to go to the checkout.
2. Your customer provides their card and address details - if you prefer you can opt to collect and hold address details yourself.
3. Their order is encrypted and they are passed to the Secure ePayment server for payment.
4. Their details are security checked and verified with the relevant card issuer.
5. The transaction is confirmed with your website.
6. You can now check and fulfil the order.

• Secure ePayments allows you the option to process transactions using card authentication (Verified by Visa/MasterCard Secure Code) which helps ensure the card is being used by the genuine cardholder.
• HSBC Bank fraud management identifies potentially fraudulent items, allowing you to make an informed decision on what action to take.
• Address Verification Service (AVS) allows you to check the cardholder's address and postcode with details held by the card issuer.

Please Note: Secure ePayments must be integrated with your website. We will provide all the information needed to do this. However, if you don't have the necessary expertise yourself, you may need to employ someone to undertake the integration for you.
